Apotheosis

When material considerations are no object to ones’ desires the Apotheosis satisfies the utmost degree of opulence and grandeur. 

With its body of malachite held in a gilded embrace of Rococo carving of epic proportions this piano demands attention and inspires awe like none other. The enormous carved legs curve like giant seahorses and overlap the body with dazzling seashell rosette going all the way to the top of the rim. The enormous carving is held together by an additional support beam near the floor, fashioned as part of this sculptural rococo apotheosis. The entire carving is gold-leafed in gloss and matte 24K gold creating an interplay of reflectivity and giving the extraordinary woodwork depth and character. The piano itself is resting like a jewel at the center of the gold setting with malachite’s unique color and pattern on full display. Complete with a gilded music stand and interior the piano lid features a mythological panoramic painting depicting ancient ruins by the seaside.
